應(yīng)該說(shuō)，中英文在議論文的結(jié)尾，還是有些微妙的差別的。雅思作文的結(jié)尾往往比開(kāi)頭和主題句還要重要，最起碼應(yīng)避免明顯中式表達(dá)的痕跡，不必喊口號(hào)或者抒情?？偟脑瓌t是：可以重申全文要點(diǎn)，可以提出具體措施，再加上地道，至少是書(shū)面語(yǔ)的措辭，就是一個(gè)好的雅思作文結(jié)尾!

請(qǐng)看這么一道題及其結(jié)尾：

V104 Wild animals have no place in the 21st century. Some people think that preventing these wild animals from dying out is a waste of resource. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

結(jié)尾1：

Someone said safeguard of wild animals is a waste of resource, but I do not agree. It seems we would spend some time, wealth and manpower on this meaningless thing. Actually we also do this for human being ourselves. let’s protect wild animals right now.

評(píng)：結(jié)尾第一句話(huà)，是對(duì)于考官給出的觀點(diǎn)的轉(zhuǎn)述，應(yīng)放在文章開(kāi)頭就出現(xiàn)。結(jié)尾不是申明中心句，而應(yīng)是對(duì)全文觀點(diǎn)的總結(jié)。大作文要收的堅(jiān)定有力，seems讓文章顯得說(shuō)服力不足，meaningless跟全文觀點(diǎn)相孛。最后一句有喊口號(hào)的意味，不符合英語(yǔ)議論文的習(xí)慣，同樣的意思可改換客觀平實(shí)的文風(fēng)收尾。

結(jié)尾2：

To sum up, we can not live without wild animals due to their profound effects on us. For this reason, we should try our best to protect them. Let’s remember one thing---- protecting wild animals is equivalent to protecting ourselves.

評(píng)：雙重否定表示強(qiáng)調(diào)，是英語(yǔ)議論文的常見(jiàn)手法,令結(jié)尾收的堅(jiān)定有力。Profound effects深遠(yuǎn)影響很好地呼應(yīng)了文中提到過(guò)的野生動(dòng)物保護(hù)的意義，令文章渾然一體。作者的觀點(diǎn)跟結(jié)尾1作者觀點(diǎn)完全一樣，但采用了平實(shí)的陳述口氣，并用了書(shū)面的地道詞匯，equivalent to ,是一個(gè)很不錯(cuò)的結(jié)尾。

結(jié)尾3：

Certainly, our diet cannot be without meat. There are living stocks, which can provide us with sufficient and nutritious produce. Therefore, we need not to resort to wild animals, especially the endangered ones. To protect animals is to protect our living environment. Every individual should join efforts to keep the diversity of animals.

評(píng)：作者不僅會(huì)用否定句表達(dá)強(qiáng)調(diào)，還很及時(shí)地采用了讓步式的收尾，指出，人當(dāng)然要吃肉，但有眾多家畜，不必殺戮野生動(dòng)物，尤其是瀕危的物種。讓步式結(jié)尾讓文章顯的客觀公正，符合英語(yǔ)議論文的要求和習(xí)慣，總體很有說(shuō)服力。再加上語(yǔ)言上同樣成功，地道的措辭，如，living stocks, sufficient and nutritious, resort to ，endangered ones, join efforts, diversity 是一篇8分作文的經(jīng)典結(jié)尾。
