憂郁王子，他的性格其實(shí)是你、我、他共有的性格。

故事開始介紹了哈姆雷特的叔叔Claudius弒哥娶嫂篡位。一日老哈姆雷特的鬼魂告訴哈姆雷特事實(shí)的真相。以下是哈姆雷特還處在父親乍去的悲傷中，Claudius，哈姆雷特和王后的對(duì)白：

CLAUDIUS:My cousin Hamlet, and my son--

HAMLET:A little more than kin, and less than kind.

QUEEN GERTRUDE: Good Hamlet, cast your nighted colour off,And let eyes look like a friend on Denmark.Do not seek for your noble father in the dust.You know it is common; all that lives must die,passing through nature to eternity.

HAMLET: Ay, madam, it is common.

QUEEN GERTRUDE: If it be,Why seems it so particular with you?

HAMLET: Seems, madam! No it is; I know not 'seems.It's not alone my inky cloak, good mother, Nor customary suits of solemn black,Nor windy suspiration of forced breath,No, nor the fruitful river in the eye,Nor the dejected behavior of the visage,Together with all forms, moods, shapes of grief,That can denote me truly: these indeed seem,For they are actions that a man might play.

重點(diǎn)講解：

Claudius假情假意地稱呼哈姆雷特，哈姆雷特則回敬說“比一般人的關(guān)系還好點(diǎn)，比不上最好的”(A little more than kin, and less than kind)。媽媽說你不要再愁眉不展了(cast off“熄滅”的意思)，人總是要死的，這是一件普通的事。哈姆雷特同意媽媽的說法。媽媽說你看起來還是很特別。漢姆雷特激動(dòng)地說“不僅僅看起來是我的外表，不是我體面的黑色外罩，不是我的嘆息，不是流連的眼神，也不是我痛苦的表情(Nor customary suits of solemn black,Nor windy suspiration of forced breath,No, nor the fruitful river in the eye,Nor the dejected behavior of the visage)，各種各樣的痛苦都不能準(zhǔn)確地表達(dá)我的痛苦。這是人正常的行為”。最后他還是安慰媽媽，說聽媽媽的話。
