We are hiring one laboratory technician in James E. Rothman lab at SIAIS, ShanghaiTech University.

Responsibilities:

Laboratory technicians will assist graduate students/postdoctoral associates and participate in the relevant research projects in membrane trafficking; will assist in the maintenance of lab equipments and basic lab reagents.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelors or Master degree in one of the following majors; Biochemistry, Molecular Biology,or Biophysics.

2. Minimum of two years of laboratory experience.

3. Strong skills in proteinexpression and purification, such asPCR, site-directed mutagenesis, FPLC (affinity, gel filtration and ion exchange), preparative column chromatographygel filtration, some experiences inprotein biophysical characterization is preferred.

4. Strong work ethics with a good sense of teamwork and communication skill in English.
