Firstly, a person with good manners is often considered to be more trustworthy and easygoing, which helps him make more friends and get needed help from others. Besides, people are more willing to show their respect to the polite people and cooperate with them, bringing them many opportunities to change. Still most importantly, being polite helps reduce misunderstanding between people, contributing to a harmonious and enjoyable relationships.

 首先，一個有禮貌的人往往被認(rèn)為是更值得信賴、更隨和的，這有助于他結(jié)交到更多的朋友，得到別人的幫助。此外，人們更愿意尊重有禮貌的人，與他們合作，這會為他們帶來很可以改變的機(jī)會。還有最重要的是，禮貌有助于減少人們之間的誤解，促進(jìn)和諧、愉快的關(guān)系。

禮貌用語的魔力Magic Power of Polite Words

 Having good manners is regarded as an important part when judging a people whether he or she is a person of good taste, and using polite words is a sign of good manners. We use polite words in our daily life without realizing it. “please” “thank you” and “sorry” are the three words we use most frequently, which bring us magic power.

擁有好的禮貌被看做是判斷一個人是否有好的品味重要的一部分，使用禮貌用語是好禮貌的標(biāo)志。我們在日常生活中無意識地使用禮貌用語?！罢垺薄爸x謝”“對不起”是三個最常用的詞語，它們給我們帶來魔力。

Being polite is the first and most important step to develop good relationship since polite words make it easy for people to communicate with others. Being polite show your respect to others so that they are likely to build  relations with you. Always saying polite words will make others feel comfortable and repected, then when you need help they are willing to give you a hand. Moreover, using polite words can bring you friends who has the same character with you,as the old saying goes “Birds of a feather flock together”. The people around you may build a better you.

禮貌是發(fā)展良好關(guān)系最基本和最重要的步驟，因為禮貌用語使人們更易于別人溝通。禮貌能夠表達(dá)你對別人的尊重，這樣別人就可能與你建立關(guān)系。經(jīng)常說禮貌用語會讓別人覺舒服和受尊重，當(dāng)你需要幫助的時候他們很愿意幫助你。而且，使用禮貌用語能夠給你帶來和你有相同性格的朋友，正如古話說的：“物以類聚”。你周圍的人會成就一個更完美的你。

Good manners are very important in the communication of daily life. Everyone likes a person with good manners. But what are good manners?

在日常生活中有禮貌是很重要的。每個人都喜歡有禮貌的人。但是什么才是有禮貌呢？

How does one know what should do and what should not do when trying to be a good - mannered person?

想成為一個有禮貌的人如何知道什么應(yīng)該做，什么不應(yīng)該做？

Well, here are some common examples. A person with good manners never laughs at a people in trouble. Instead, he (she) always tries to consult or offer help to the person.

好，這有一些常見的例子。一個有禮貌的人永遠(yuǎn)不會嘲笑處于困境中的人。相反，他（她）總是試圖咨詢情況或提供幫助。

When he (she) takes a bus and sees an old man or a sick man, he (she) always gives his (her) seat to him. He doesn't interrupt other people when they are talking.

當(dāng)他（她）在公共汽車上看見老人或病人，他（她）總是會給他讓座。他不會打斷別人的談話。

He uses a handkerchief when he sneezes or coughs. He does not spite in public places.

在打噴嚏或咳嗽時他會用手帕。他不會在公共場合吐痰。

Ideas of what are good manners are not always the same in different regions. For example, people in Western countries usually kiss each other to show their greetings, whereas in China, kissing in public is something of unusual and sometimes be regarded as impolite to somebody else.

對于什么才是有禮貌，不同的地方是不一樣的。例如，人們在西方國家通常互相親吻來表示問候，而在中國，在公眾場合接吻是不尋常的事情，有時會被視為是對別人的不禮貌。

So it is important to know what is regarded as polite and impolite before you go to a region.

所以在去一個地方之前知道什么是禮貌什么是不禮貌是很重要的。

But remember that it is always right to be kind and helpful to others.
