Tian'anmen Square is one of the largest squares in the world. It covers an area of 440,000 square meters. On the north is the red Tian'anmen Gate Tower. On the south is Chairman Mao's Memorial Hall. At the center stands the Monument to the People's Heroes. On one side of the square is the Great Hall of the People and on the other side is the Museum of Chinese History.
A lot of people from all over the world come to visit the square every day.
